It occured to me that in this age of computerized, techie, ready to wear automation that the fine art of sewing on a button was one that may be lost.
Doing a little research I found that there were many queries on how to do this simple task. You know, I think we have given up a lot in the modern day. Activities like sewing on buttons, ironing, and even darning socks forced our grandmothers and great grandmothers to sit down, and relax for a few moments.
Whether you want to embrace the simple life or you just need a button put back on the shirt you want to wear to work…you can easily do it with thesde instructions.

If your New Year’s resolution was to cut more sugar from your diet for whatever reason then stevia should be on your pantry shelf.
It has no side effects, does not have an effect on your blood sugar, has 0 calories, and is fairly inexpensive. The problem is that most people have either never heard of it or have no clue how to use it.
I have a solution for that.

Using homemade, green cleaning supplies just makes sense. It is a necessity for us because several of my kids and I have chemical allergies and sensitivities, but even without that it is important. And inexpensive. And safer.
I don’t know if you heard all of the news a couple of years ago but around here they were warning people away from brightly colored chemical cleaners. You know the ones, don;t you? They are inexpensive and come in colors like bright purple, bright red, and bright green. Apparently little kids were drinking them thinking they were Koolaid.

Having knee pain? Lots of people do. It has to do with the constant motion and activity of the knee, weight gain, and the natural aging process…or it could just be that you have over worked it…or a myriad of other reasons.
Most people don;t care why their knees hurt..they just want them to stop so they can get back to some sort of normal life.
So..the real question:What is glucosamine chondroitin and, more importantly, does it work? Read More - Glucosamine Chondroitin

Some of you all are going to thank me for this in a couple of days, trust me.
In order to cure a hangover you should understand some of the things that cause it.
Booze, too much booze is the main culprit. If you stay away from that you pretty much have it licked.

Mullein is one of those herbs that everyone should have on hand but not that many people know about. Mullein should not be used by people that are taking blood thinners or have clotting problems, and you should discontiiue using it three weeks before a scheduled surgery. It is a potent blood thinner containing some of the same chemical compounds as Coumadin.
Like most herbs Mullein should be used with care and respect. Always do your research and know how to use the herb. Never put it in an ear that you suspect has a ruptured eardrum.
BUT…it is safe when used as directed and you can’t beat it for many ailments.

Did you ever see White Christmas? There is a part where Bing and Rosemary Clooney find themselves not sleeping, and break into song about counting blessings instead of sheep.
I love that movie and I love that song…but I hate not being able to sleep. And I find that as I have gotten older I have a harder time sleeping all night.
